KIDMOTO ADVENTURE / PRIVACY
YOUR DETAILS.
HANDLED WITH CARE.
This notice explains how we use information when you visit our website, place an order or contact us. Last updated: 23 October 2026.
Who we are
KidMoto Adventure is operated by SYNCLAB LTD, company number 17213434. We are responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Our registered office is 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected]. The registered office does not accept bike returns.
Information we use
When you email us, we receive your email address, any name or contact information you provide, your message and any attachments you choose to send. Please avoid including unnecessary personal information about children or other people in photographs or videos.
Cloudflare also provides cookieless website-performance analytics, which helps us understand page loading and reliability. Our hosting service processes technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and security events to deliver and protect the website. With your optional consent, we use Google Analytics to understand visits and purchases, and Microsoft Clarity to understand interactions with our public product and guide pages through heatmaps and session recordings. You can decline without affecting shopping or payment.
When you order, we collect your name, email, billing and delivery address, the items ordered, price, payment reference and payment status. We use these details to process your purchase, deliver your bike, send order and tracking updates, and handle returns or warranty support.
Stripe processes your payment information. Our commerce server does not store your full card number or security code. Stripe may also process device and transaction information for payment security and fraud prevention; see its privacy policy.
Why we use it
We use enquiry information to answer your questions and take steps you request before entering a sales contract. We process orders, delivery and agreed support to perform our contract with you. Where required, we keep records to comply with legal obligations.
Website security, preventing misuse and dealing with disputes are our legitimate interests. We consider your rights when using information for these purposes. We do not add you to marketing lists simply because you contact us.
Services and international processing
We use Cloudflare for hosting and security, Medusa software to manage orders, Neon for the order database, Redis Cloud for operational processing, Resend for transactional emails, Stripe for payments and Apple iCloud Mail for support correspondence. Each service receives information needed for its function.
Your bike is dispatched directly from China. SYNCLAB LTD creates the shipping label and sends it to our dispatch partner in China to attach to your parcel for collection by FedEx. The label contains the adult recipient’s name, delivery address, parcel or customs information and, where the carrier requires it, a delivery telephone number. We share only the details needed for that shipment and any expressly authorised return or replacement-parts delivery. Payment-card details, account passwords and access to the customer database are not provided to the dispatch partner. Our instructions prohibit independent marketing or reuse for other sales. FedEx and any necessary customs service also process shipment information.
These arrangements involve processing outside the United Kingdom, where data-protection rules may differ. Technology providers publish their processing and international-transfer terms: Cloudflare, Neon, Redis Cloud, Resend, Stripe and Apple. Contact [email protected] for information about the safeguards applicable to your information or to request a copy of relevant contractual protections, subject to necessary redactions.
We may also disclose information where legally required or necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep information
We normally retain required company accounting records for six years after the end of the relevant financial year, and longer where a legal requirement or unresolved claim requires it. Abandoned baskets are reviewed after 30 days, after reconciling any payment. Operational failed-event recovery records expire after 90 days. We normally review and delete enquiries 12 months after the last meaningful contact, and routine support correspondence 24 months after an issue is closed, unless an open issue or a documented legal reason requires longer retention. Where correspondence forms part of an accounting record or legal claim, we retain the necessary information for the relevant legal period. We do not retain information simply because it might be useful indefinitely.
Cookies and browser storage
The product website stores your animation preference on your device so it can remember your choice. Checkout uses session storage to restore your basket and check an interrupted payment. We also keep a short record of checkout steps and technical error codes with your basket to investigate payment problems. This record excludes the contents of form fields and card details. With Analytics consent, Google Analytics can receive the step names and error codes too. Stripe uses device information and storage necessary for payment functionality and fraud prevention. Address autocomplete is provided through Stripe using Google Maps; the address text you enter may be sent to that service to suggest matches. You can also enter your address manually. These functions do not sign you up for marketing. Hosting and security services may use information or storage necessary to deliver and protect the site. Google Analytics loads only after you accept analytics cookies. It receives browsing and device information, product interactions and, when you complete an order, its reference, product, currency and value. We do not send your name, email, delivery address or card details through analytics. We have disabled Google signals and advertising personalisation. Declining means these visits and purchases will not appear in Analytics; our operational order records still work. Use Cookie preferences on any page to change your choice. We remember your choice for up to six months. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 60 days, with expiry renewed on activity. The latest consented basket reference and up to 100 order references used to prevent duplicate measurement are stored on your device until browser storage is cleared or consent is withdrawn. Google may process analytics information outside the UK; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Google data-processing terms. We rely on your consent for this optional measurement. Our Google Analytics property is linked to our Google Ads account so that consented purchase events can be imported as conversions to measure advertising effectiveness. Advertising measurement is a separate optional choice in Cookie preferences. If you allow it, Google advertising click identifiers can be included in consented Analytics measurement to attribute orders to ads. You can allow Analytics without advertising measurement. This does not add a separate Google Ads tag to the site. Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled. Declining Analytics stops Google Analytics events and Microsoft Clarity collection. Declining advertising measurement stops Microsoft Advertising, Pinterest and Meta measurement and the optional advertising attribution described above. External websites linked from this site operate their own privacy and storage practices.
After you give the relevant consent, we may keep permitted campaign tags, advertising click identifiers, the landing-page path and the referring site’s hostname in your browser for up to 30 days, then copy those details to your basket and order to understand which visits led to a purchase. We do not save the full referrer URL or payment-return tokens for this purpose. With Analytics consent, we also copy the existing Google visitor and session identifiers to your basket and order. After Stripe confirms payment, our server can send Google the purchase value, product and order reference with those identifiers, so measurement does not depend on you keeping the confirmation page open. Withdrawing Analytics consent before payment stops new identifier collection; we update your saved basket choice when checkout can reach our service. We do not send your name, email, delivery address or card details in this purchase event. Withdrawing a choice stops collection under that choice and clears or narrows the browser copy; order records already created remain subject to the retention and rights described above.
Microsoft Clarity: heatmaps and session recordings. Our shop and guides are intended for adult parents and carers. If you allow Analytics in the updated Cookie preferences, Clarity helps us understand clicks, scrolling and how visitors use our public product, guide and calculator pages. Microsoft can receive page and referring URLs, browser and device information, IP addresses, pseudonymous cookie identifiers and interaction data used to create heatmaps and session recordings. We exclude checkout, account, administration and payment pages, and pages carrying unrecognised or private URL parameters. We mask form controls and do not send customer names, email addresses, delivery details, card details or order records to Clarity.
Clarity loads only after a new Analytics choice that includes Microsoft Clarity; an older Google Analytics permission does not enable it. Clarity advertising storage is set to denied in our integration. With Analytics permission, Clarity can use first-party cookies such as _clck and _clsk to recognise a browser and connect page visits. Withdrawing Analytics permission stops Clarity, clears its applicable first-party cookies and reloads the page. You can also manage cookies in your browser.
Microsoft is an independent controller of the personal data it receives through Clarity. Its terms explain that Microsoft may use this data for Clarity and Microsoft Advertising, and processing may take place outside the UK, including in the United States. Read the Microsoft Privacy Statement and Clarity cookie information for its uses, storage and privacy choices. We rely on your consent for optional Clarity collection and do not use it to create named customer profiles.
Microsoft Advertising purchase measurement. We ask for your advertising choice, naming Microsoft Advertising, before loading its Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag. If you allow it, Microsoft can receive browser and device information, IP address, permitted page and referrer URLs, Microsoft advertising identifiers and a confirmed purchase’s order reference, product identifier, GBP currency and actual paid total. We do not send names, email addresses, telephone numbers, delivery addresses or card details in this event. The tag and purchase event stay off when advertising consent is absent or withdrawn. We clear applicable first-party UET cookies when you withdraw permission. UET can use cookies such as _uetvid, _uetsid and _uetmsclkid; Microsoft controls their lifetimes. Our own consented click-attribution copy lasts up to 30 days. Up to 100 order references used to prevent repeat sends are kept on your device until its storage is cleared or permission is withdrawn. Microsoft is an independent controller of the data it receives, may process it outside the UK, and uses it under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We rely on your consent for this optional measurement.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising measurement. If you allow advertising measurement in the updated Cookie preferences, the Meta Pixel measures page views, Trail49 product views, additions to basket, checkout starts and confirmed paid orders for our bikes and Ride Club hoodies. Meta can receive your IP address, browser and device information, permitted page and referrer URLs, advertising click and cookie identifiers, product identifiers, quantities, GBP value and an order reference. This helps us understand whether our Facebook and Instagram advertising leads to purchases. We do not enable automatic advanced matching or send your name, email, telephone number, delivery address or card details through this integration. We do not connect Meta Conversions API.
The Meta script and events stay off until you make an advertising choice that includes Meta. Earlier advertising consent does not enable it. Meta may use first-party cookies such as _fbp and _fbc, commonly lasting up to three months. We store up to 300 consented basket/event and order references on your device to prevent duplicate measurement; these are cleared when you withdraw permission or clear browser storage. Withdrawing advertising permission stops new Meta events, clears applicable first-party cookies and reloads the page. Meta may process information outside the UK and use it for measurement and advertising under its Privacy Policy and Business Tools Terms. We rely on your consent for this optional measurement; declining does not affect shopping or payment.
Pinterest advertising measurement. If you allow advertising measurement, the Pinterest tag measures page visits, additions to basket and confirmed purchases. It can process your IP address, browser and device information, page and referrer URLs, Pinterest cookie identifiers, and product, order-value and quantity information. Confirmed-purchase events include an order reference; they do not include your name, email, telephone number, delivery address or payment-card details. We do not enable enhanced matching or send contact details to Pinterest. Pinterest may process information outside the UK and use it under its privacy policy.
The Pinterest script and events load only after you allow advertising measurement. Pinterest first-party cookies, such as _pin_unauth, _epik and _derived_epik, may persist for up to one year. You can withdraw permission using Cookie preferences; we stop optional measurement, clear applicable first-party cookies and reload the page. We ask returning visitors to choose again when this new measurement provider is introduced.
Amazon affiliate links
Our Riding essentials guide contains labelled paid links to Amazon.co.uk. If you click one, it opens Amazon and includes our Associates tracking ID so Amazon can attribute a qualifying purchase to KidMoto. Amazon then processes your visit and any purchase under its own privacy notice and cookie choices. These links do not send your KidMoto order details or contact details to Amazon. We do not load Amazon advertising scripts, pixels or product embeds on our pages.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Email [email protected] to make a request. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
